Holistic Project Management¶
This documentation exists to provide guides for a method of project management.
It's an early draft but being actively written.
Summary
Holistic Project Management starts by defining your objectives for upcoming seasons. From there, you figure out the results you'll need to complete those objectives, and the actions you'll need to take to obtain those results. Each season is divided into phases containing related actions from different objectives. Actions are further specified into tasks.
Objectives, results, actions, phases, and tasks are all work packages. Every work package has two people attached to it: one to whom the task is assigned and one who is responsible for reporting & decisionmaking.
This may look very different in different implementations. Seasons may be defined to the day, or completely disconnected from the calendar. Tasks can be general instructions or complex instructions with many dependencies. The most important element of holistic project management is that every task clearly relates back to the project's objectives.
